I usually come in for the banh mis. I've also gotten other foods togo. Decided to dine in and have the bun mang vit. We came in for a late lunch so it wasnt busy at all. The bowl was smaller than I expected but it was full. The duck salad was full as well. I wasn't extremely hungry so the meal was filling. The broth is nice and sweet. The duck was well cooked. I like to pour the fish sauce on the duck salad and transfer piece by piece into the Vermicelli noodle bowl.

I have wanted to come here for a long time. I had heard from a friend that it wasn't big enough but there are plenty of tables for dining. It was a cold rainy Sunday and I was craving a good bowl of soup. We ordered fried tofu banh mi, thinly sliced steak pho, fried spring rolls, rice platter with grilled pork and egg, and a lychee shake. Everything was delicious! The broth in the pho was flavorful and hearty. The grilled pork reminded me of a less sweet version of Korean short ribs. It was a little on the "fatty" side but I just ate around the fat. I think the fried spring rolls contained shrimp. I'm not allergic but maybe ask before ordering. Service was on the slow side to start (both in being seated and ordering) but food came out relatively quickly and they apologized for not taking our order sooner. The lychee shake contained whole lychees. My teenage daughter loved it but it is a bit sweet and juice I would guess is from a can. Parking lot was full due to a large party but I was able to park in the neighborhood and then move my car when the parking lot had more spaces. I look forward to visiting again and I'd love to try the duck. I'll definitely be back to try other dishes!

Best tofu bahn mi ever and it was only $7. Someone slashed my car tire so I was next door at Express Tires getting it replaced at lunchtime. They recommended this place. Initially I walked in and out cuz I didn't see any veggie options. After consulting Yelp, I realized I missed the tofu bahn mi. Tofu was warm and flavorful, veggies were fresh and crisp, bread was nicely toasted. No photos cuz I ate the whole thing too quickly.

When a person suggests getting food from a billiard hall, my right eyebrow raises exactly like the emoji face, and I am like, say what? I finally made myself go try it. Conclusion: EVERYONE should be eating here. Their menu has the offerings of a typical pho place. The prices are very reasonable, easily competitive with Little Saigon area. According to my Vietnamese friend, this place is her family's go-to place for Banh-Mi. We made a note of that and got some to go. Our service was crisp and on-point. No complaints. At the correct table, this place can be a dinner and a show. The inside is about half occupied by 4 billiard tables and a separate section for diners. We purposely sat in the in-between section for a view of the games. It was fun watching two well-matched strangers play each other down to the last solid vs striped each time. The Food: Chả giò, or Egg Rolls (aka fried spring rolls), $8 - 4.5 Stars Crispy fried, well-stuffed, delicious! Gỏi cuốn, or Spring Rolls (aka fresh roll), $8 - 4.5 Stars They said they are out of the pork today and if that was ok. No problem! It was a perfectly good pair of open-ended rolls. I like this type of wrap style - easier to pick up the sauce! Phở Đuôi Bò, $20.50 - 2.5 Stars This was the one fail. Why does it have to be most expensive dish? The oxtail is incredibly tough. It was definitely no slow cooked, as it should be. Fail. If they are not going to do it right, don't have it on the menu! On the plus side, the broth is incredible. Definitely, need to return for regular pho. Mì Thập Cẩm, or Special Combo Noodles, $15.95 - 3.5 Stars This is the everything noodle soup bowl. The pork slices on top are meh, a bit tough; the rest is good. The broth is not as flavorful as the normal beef broth. Pretty good noodle soup, but I'll order something else next time. Bánh Mì - Grilled Pork, $7 - 5 Stars Bánh Mì - Tofu, $7 - 5 Stars My friend is right. These are awesome. The bread has the right kind of yield, not too soft, not too bready. The protein is generous. The veggies were the right proportions.

Billard Hoàng | Vietnamese | Seattle | $50 Legit the best wings in town + legit Vietnamese #goodeats that I can trust. We come every time we're in Seattle with 30+ people and everyone leaves happy Service is impeccable. We had 30 people show up and they happily took care of us and food came out pretty timely. Vibes were awesome, they have a billiards section we could play pool after after or before eating but we just end up taking over the corner and chatting the night away. If you're looking for some delicious authentic Vietnamese foods, stop by here. Shoot some pools while you're here. I m in shock that the broken rice was so good. Like every single item on the plate was yummy. Even the shredded pork that I dislike most was crazy good lol The rice was perfect. Actual broken rice. The meat was well marinated, juicy and tender. The sauce was good too. The rice duck noodle with the salad was great as well. My mom said it was very satisfying. The broth was flavorful. It didn't make her thirsty afterwards. Less msg :) Good portion of ducks and salad. Duck was fresh and meaty. Fresh salad with a hint of vinegar. So good. I didn't get the chance to try the spring rolls. My friend and my mom thought it was very good tho. Took one star off because the guy staff wasn't that great. He got some kind of owner attitude. To some, he may seem chill, to others, it just plain rude. Other staffs were ok.

Have you ever wanted to play billiards and enjoy some of the best Vietnamese food at the same time? Well, you can, at billiard hoang. While we didn't play billiards this time, we watched some people play over drinks. There is a space sectioned off with tables and a space for pool tables. We chose our own table and ordered the Oxtail Pho, Beef Pho, and fish sauce wings. The wings are made to order and take a bit of time to come out, but it is so worth the wait. Insanely crispy and so flavorful. The pho broth is phenomenal, and they bring you all the sides to garnish with (limes, bean sprouts, jalapeños etc.) you can always ask for more of something if you want it. Oxtail pho isn't a super common type of pho, but it is so good here. Tender and falling off the phone while packed with flavor. The classic beef is also lovely, as long as you eat it fast! So it doesn't get overcooked while sitting in the broth. I've also heard lots of good things about their Banh Mi, which I'll have to try next time I'm in the area. I saw people ordering takeout with lots of Banh mi. There is ample free parking in front of the restaurant. You may be asked for ID (21+) to enter. Please be patient with the waitstaff as English may not be their first language.

Alright, the day might be here... I might've found my favorite bowl of pho in Seattle. *gasps* I came to Billiard Hoang to film with local Yelp Elite, Blessie V, as part of our Eat Like an Elite series (which you can go watch on @yelpwashington!). The outside of Billiard Hoang is very unassuming, but I know not to judge a book by it's cover! Inside is pretty cool. Billiard Hoang feels more like a bar than it does a restaurant, which I like. Very laid back vibe that's perfect for any time of day! And after you're done eating, they've got plenty of pool tables if you're looking to kill some time. To start, we went with the spring rolls. You get two for $8, and this is WORTH the money! These spring rolls are the biggest I have ever seen, and wrapped expertly. No veggies or noodles falling out, here! They were delicious, fresh, and the perfect start to the meal. Now, for the star of the meal... THE OXTAIL PHO. I've put off trying oxtail pho for so long, and not for any good reason. Now, I know the reason was because I was meant to try it at Billiard Hoang. At $19, it's definitely steep for a bowl of pho but it is SO worth it. 100% the most savory, flavorful bowl of pho I have ever had in my life. The oxtail was delicious, and came off the bone easily. You can see from my photo how dark the broth is, which tells you how deep the flavor of this broth went! I'm never really in this area, but I will go out of my way just to eat here again.
